Cimarron National Grassland
U.S. Forest ServiceUSFS Pike-San Isabel National Forests & Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands; ~108,175 acres in Morton County (southwest corner of Kansas) administered out of the Cimarron National Grassland office in Elkhart. Motorized travel is restricted to roads and trails designated open on the Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) — the largest federally-administered land base in Kansas open to OHV travel and the only sizeable public-land riding venue in the state.

State DNRKansas Department of Wildlife & Parks does not operate dedicated OHV trail facilities — K.S.A. §8-128 exempts ATVs from state registration and KDWP state parks generally do not permit ATV / UTV recreation outside of designated park-road / utility-task use.
